We are delighted to announce that we have provided £25,000 to the School of Hard Knocks. This is the second instalment of our main grant to SOHK. In year one, the initial grant was used across their schools throughout the UK to help secure the delivery of the wider programme, alongside other funding. We are exceptionally excited to see School of Hard Knocks continue to build on this with their second installment of our main grant.

We are delighted to announce that we have raised in excess of £30,000 which will be utilised to enable us to continue changing lives through the spirit of rugby.

Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation are delighted to announce that packages are now on sale for the Wasps Legends Rugby Golf Classic, 2024!

The Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation are delighted to be joining forces with the children’s medical research charity, Action for A-T, as we head for the Hautes-Pyrénées to tackle the iconic Col du Tourmalet. This much vaunted summer cycling challenge includes a breathtaking climb, which summits at 2,115m, and has been used more than any other mountain pass by the Tour de France. Despite this, it remains an achievable climb for cyclists of all abilities. We are hoping to raise significant funds that can be utilised to provide a grant for Action for A-T. Should we reach our grant target, any subsequent funds will be split equally between Action for A-T and Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation

Wasps Legends are delighted to announce the Hall of Fame Dinner, held on 16th May 2024 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, where eight new names will join an esteemed list of Wasps greats.

Following a successful 2023, we are looking ahead with anticipation at what is set to be a busy year for Wasps Legends in our ongoing mission of changing lives through the spirit of Rugby.

On Monday 6th December, we held our Christmas Lunch at the 28-50 by Night as we celebrated the festive season in style.

We are delighted to announce the details of our highly anticipated annual Christmas Lunch to be held at 28°-50° by Night on Wednesday 6th December.

We are delighted to release the details of the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation’s Long Lunch on the 9th November, 2023, at the Royal Leonardo Hotel, St Pauls

A charity cycle ride was held on Saturday 1st July with Wasps and Reptiles Cycle Clubs covering a total distance of 3,000km around the Cotswolds, raising a total £4,226.

Welcome to our new website, we do hope you enjoy using it. The brief for our new site was to update our branding, optimise it for use across multiple platforms and most importantly, make navigating to key areas of the website as easy as possible. A further key benefit of our new site is the control we have over our content which will have a positive effect over the regularity of new posts and updates going forward. Much of your favourite areas of the website have been moved across, including the Legends database which covers the Men, Woman, Teams and it now also houses our Hall of Fame winners. The Event section has been redesigned and will now be easier to see what’s new, coming up and how to access tickets to our stellar event roster. We have also updated our impact page with greater transparency as to how the valuable funds we raise, assist those most in need within our Wasps and wider rugby community. In addition, we have amalgamated memberships into our Get Involved page and made the grant giving application process a little clearer and easier to access than before. Whilst exciting, please do bear with us as we get up to speed with using it and integrating it more fully into the way Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation work. There will be amends as we go along and there will also be additions to some of the existing pages. Should you have any feedback, please do feel free to share it. Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation held their 6th ‘Wasps Legends Rugby Golf Classic’ in La Manga in June sponsored by Deepbridge Capital LLP. Since its inception, the Wasps Legends Rugby Golf Classic has brought together Rugby and other sporting legends to play in a two-day golf tournament to raise money for charitable projects close to the hearts Wasps Legends community. Our celebrities, a mix of Wasps Legends and other legends of the game included Giselle Mather, Ken Moss, Chris Braithwaite, Peter Scrivener, Sol N’Jie, Rob Lozowski, Jason Turner, Jimmy Gopperth, Simon Shaw MBE, Joe Worsley MBE, Andy Gomarsall MBE, Lawrence Dallaglio OBE, Damian Hopley MBE and Jason Leonard OBE. We were also pleased to welcome back football legend Liverpool ex-striker Neil Mellor and Invictus Games Captain, Major Bernie Broad. The sporting stars entertained all the teams, which boasted caps from across the home nations as well as the British and Irish Lions and the Barbarians. Teams were also treated to three charity dinners, which all contributed to the fundraising over the weekend, which raised over £75,000. The money raised will benefit the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation’s grant recipient charities which will be voted on later this year. We want to thank our title sponsors, Deepbridge Capital LLP, for their continued support of the event. We would also like to thank our other sponsors, for which we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing generosity. Only a few days after the death of Wasps legend Paul 'Judge' Rendall', the Wasps family suffered another huge loss with the news that long-serving team manager and kit man Malcolm Sinclair had died.

There are legends and then there are super-legends. Paul Anthony George Rendall, known to all as Judge, was definitely in the second category.
