WLCF small grant awarded to Just4Children
  • Wasps Legends donate £2,500 to Just4Children.
  • Donation will support a specialist equipment for Owen Murphy

Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation, the past players network of Wasps, men and women, amateur and professional announced today that they have issued a small grant award of £2,500 to Just4Children.

Just4Children is passionate about the relief of sickness and preservation of health of children in the UK and Ireland by providing and assisting in the provision of grants to enable them to obtain medical treatment, therapies, living environments, equipment and holidays which would not otherwise be available to them.

The £2,500 funding will be used to purchase specialist equipment, including a specialist bespoke fitted bath, for Owen Murphy. Owen has low core tone alongside fluctuating tone in all of his limbs.

Jeremy Marris, CEO of Just4Children said of the donation: "Just4Children are overwhelmed by the generous donation from Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation. This donation really will make a huge difference to Owen’s young life in ensuring he reaches his full potential by receiving the equipment and therapies he so desperately needs.”

To provide Owen with the opportunity of reaching key milestones such as sitting, walking and talking and accessing treatments that will help his development is the essence of the charitable work we undertake.”
