Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation, the past players network of Wasps, men and women, amateur and professional and are proud to have supported Action for A-T climb of Mount Snowdon.

5th July 2018 was the day that some of our Wasps Legends supported one of our 2018 charity partners Action for A-T to help Zach and Ruben realise a dream and reach the summit of Mount Snowdon. Both Zach and Reuben suffer from Ataxia Telangiectasiaand were fundraising to help fund further research in their condition.

Wasps Legends Peter Scrivener and Luke Gilbert led the team of Legends up the mountain, which also included: Charlie Scrivener, Nick and James Bell, Chad James, Steve Richards, Andrew Hughes, Paul and Arran Anderson and Jack Porter.

Both Zach and Ruben wanted to complete this challenge and show everyone that whatever you set your mind to can be achieved. So far, the boys have achieved a staggering £23,000 in fundraising. At the end of the day, Zach said of the climb: "I didn’t realize today would be such an amazing day”, while Ruben said: "I never thought I would climb a mountain”.
