Stats

Mark was signed midway through season 98/99 to provide cover during the injury crisis. Made his debut away to Newcastle and made such an impression that he forced his way into the team, played in the Cup final and became a permanent fixture. Mark was handed the temporary captaincy in October 2000, due to the absence of Club Captain Lawrence Dallaglio through injury.

A Cambridge graduate that previously played with Bedford and Bristol. Mark is a keen Twitcher (Birdwatcher) and loves swimming with Dolphins and once spent a summer picking Penguins up on the Falkland Islands. The 2002/2003 season saw Mark in formidable form. His power and presence in the midfield spearheaded the London Wasps attacking play. As a defender, Mark was probably one of the best tacklers around which made him a valuable asset to the side.
